The REDARC BCDC1225D Under Bonnet Battery Charger is a robust 12V 25A DC to DC charger, engineered for high performance in engine bay installations. Designed to withstand extreme conditions, it’s heat, water, and dust-resistant.

This charger includes a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, enabling simultaneous charging from solar panels and the alternator. Its ‘Green Power Priority’ feature prioritizes solar charging, reducing the load on the alternator.

Compatible with 12V or 24V vehicle systems, it adapts to standard or variable/smart alternators. The BCDC1225D supports multiple battery types, including AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries, making it ideal for use with REDARC Lithium batteries.

For battery bank sizes ranging from 75-200AH, the BCDC1225D is suitable, while the BCDC1240D is recommended for capacities exceeding 200AH.
