A UHF CB Radio (Ultra High Frequency Citizens Band) is a great way to have peace of mind when travelling our vast country. In fact some experts say that it is as essential as having a First Aid kit when travelling in the outback, especially if there is no phone reception.
The range of the UHF varies on the signals received and the antennas fitted. Whilst it is not always possible to cover every scenario, it is always wise to stick to a well branded, Australian tested radio with all the correct certifications for peace of mind. Some different types of aerials are as follows:
from Facebook Great work to get my Nissan Patrol electrics ready for towing at short notice, All done with skill and professionalism. Everything works perfectly. Thanks Shane and Liz. I know who I'll be calling the next time I need auto electrics fixed.
from Google Thank you Shane and Liz for the excellent service fitting electric brakes and Andersen plug to my Pajero. Your advice on product selection and pricing was also much appreciated. Having the job done at my home made the exercise hassle free. The job was done on time and according to budget. Reliable and friendly service. Highly recommended!
from Google Shane did an awesome job wiring an LED light bar on my Hilux 4x4 - neat and works beautifully!
from Google My engine bay was a spaghetti mess of wires etc my battery was going flat in 2 days I needed a 50 amp plug wired to my tow bar a new battery management system. Left my land cruiser for about 5 hours and on pickup could not believe the transformed engine bay WOW these guys are excellence PLUS can highly recommend!
from Google Excellent service! Shane was able to come, find and fix an electrical fault with my 4x4 on the same day as me ringing him. Was first recommended by a friend and since have called on Shane 3 or 4 times with great results every time. I would recommend him to anyone struggling to find and fix anything electrical themselves. So far between the people I know he has been able to fix a fusable link fault, starter issue with a damaged wire hidden behind the dash and a glow plug relay sequence with another hidden damaged wire fault.
